The Digital Hood Defense wires through the same keypad as the vault lock, allowing the user to easily control access to their hood, vault or both depending on the paired vault lock. After installing the latest update, Digital Hood Defense works directly through existing lock software. When paired with the Digital Platform keypad, this lock records both hood and vault access — up to 1,000 time- and date-stamped events — enhancing ATM security, management and oversight while making the unit impervious to hood tampering.
