Basic electricity concepts that directly relate to access control with products such as Wireless Remote Fobs, Keypads, Strikes, Maglocks, etc.

Understanding Dealer Controlled Schlage Key Systems | TUESDAY | 11am-12pm
This class will go over:
• Layered Security - Upgrading a open key system to a restricted and patented key system without replacing every core and key or carrying multiple keys. Use one key to operate open, restricted and high security cylinders. Custom tailor the key system to the customer’s needs.
• Backward Compatible Key Systems - Upgrading an out of patent key system to the newest patent without replacing the entire key system.
• Schlage modular cylinders - How one cylinder can plug and play into Schlage levers, mortice and rim cylinders. Less inventory with the capability to service more doors.

Schlage Bluetooth Mobile Credential | TUESDAY | 3pm-4pm
You can now use your iPhone or Android phone for access control. Schlage ENGAGE allows you to issue mobile credentials at no charge through end of 2020.

If terms such as volts, amps, plenum-rated, and shielded leave you scratching your head, this webinar is for you. You will be shown how to read labels on various types of cables and how to select the proper cable based on factors such as operating voltage, current rating, wire lengths, and the installation environment.

Electrified Hardware for Access Control Systems and Security | THURSDAY | 3pm-4pm
Electrified and electronic hardware can enhance the security and safety of a facility if the hardware selections are made with the facility's needs in mind. During this session, we'll talk about the importance of asking questions of your clients to determine how they need openings to function given their access control and security requirements. We'll have time to discuss some electrified and electronic hardware components commonly in use today and that can grow/adapt as your clients' needs change.
