Lock August Anniversaries Seven Employees are Celebrating their Southern Lock anniversary this month, and the range is wide. Two people are marking their first full year, and another has been with us for 26 years. |

Alicia 8-26-09 Congratulations to Alicia, our accounts receivable clerk & receptionist, who will be celebrating her first year at the Lock this coming Thursday. We combed through our photo archives and could only find this picture of Alicia. She's on the far left facing away from the camera. |

Wayne 8-3-09 Another employee is celebrating his one year anniversary at Southern Lock. As a reward for surviving his first year, Wayne (Dealer Sales) now gets to use the restrooms in the building instead of at the gas station on the corner. "This is great!" Wayne grinned, "But now what do I have to look forward to?" |

| Jonathan 8-16-07 Our Electronics Guy, Jonathan, celebrated 3 years on the job as of August 16th. "You know," Jonathan admitted, "My computer made a funny sound yesterday. Of course, I’ve never heard it get thrown out a window before. |

Natalie 8-5-04 Natalie (Dealer Sales) has now been with the company for six years. She had a small ceremony to celebrate with a few close friends. Some drinks, snacks, wet suits, a car battery and jumper cables, a clothesline, and a wheel barrel filled with cypress mulch... |

Walt 8-15-88 Walt, our outside rep in North Carolina, is celebrating 22 years of service to Southern Lock. He didn't wear the tie in the bottom picture because the top button won't close anymore, but that white shirt looks as good as it did 22 years ago. |

8-9-84 Down in our South Florida facility, Warehouse Manager Pete celebrated 26 years of Southern Lock employment on the ninth of August. Pete has changed little over the years. He lost the giant glasses and got some giant contact lenses. |

Reports were mixed about the show this year, but everyone agreed that while attendance had been better in the past, the show wasn’t about quantity, it was about quality. Southern Lock had a massive display that included our brand new Electronics setup complete with working access control devices and computer screens displaying high-tech information.
